A little about me...

    

I have been creating art pretty much my whole life, but being a single parent to 3 kids with crazy schedules and having to work full time, the "making art full time" was put on the back burner for a while, hence the term "Starving Artist" and not to mention, I.O.U's didn't fly with the mortgage company, so I painted when I could. The kids now have left the nest, pursuing their own careers and I even got the added title of "nana" in that transition, to an adorable grandson  (a.k.a. the cutest kid in the world) Now it's time to make my dreams a reality.  

  

I lived in beautiful Maine for the past 31 years, and recently moved to Topsham after my husband and childhood sweetheart retired. I am lucky enough to have a husband who understands who I am and he said "Make art and do what you love!"  Of course art is a wide open subject for we artist types, but that's what I am going to do!

 

When it comes to creating art for me, it comes in all forms.  I am a graduate of Montserrat School Of Visual Art, which is now Montserrat College Of Art in Beverly, MA.  There I received a diploma in Illustration and Design. I have dabbled in many mediums and still not sure exactly which is my favorite.  I paint on paper, wood, fabric, ceramics, glass, large walls and even faces!
